Your Trusted South Bend Party Bus Company
Party Bus Fort Wayne has been handling group transportation across northern Indiana since 2011 — and South Bend is squarely in our wheelhouse. We know what makes this city move: the gameday gridlock on Juniper Road when Notre Dame hosts a top-10 opponent, the downtown parking squeeze during the Firefly Music Festival, the early-morning rush from the South Bend Regional Airport on a holiday Monday. That local knowledge is what separates a smooth trip from a scramble.
Our fleet covers every group size, from a compact 15-passenger minibus shuttling a wedding party between the Morris Inn and a reception in Granger, to a full 56-passenger charter bus carrying a company team from the Innovation Park to a conference in Indianapolis. All-inclusive pricing means the number you see when you quote online is the number you pay — no surprises at the curb. Our reservation team is available 24/7, so whether you're booking four months out for Notre Dame's home opener or calling the day before a last-minute corporate run, someone is always there to confirm your plan.

How Much Is a Party Bus in South Bend?
South Bend party bus and charter bus rental prices depend on vehicle size, the date, and how long you need the bus. General ranges: 14-passenger Sprinter limos run $170–$344/hour; 15–20 passenger party buses run $204–$378/hour; 20–30 passenger party buses run $244–$414/hour; 35–50 passenger party buses and minibuses run $294–$490/hour; and 40–56 passenger charter buses run $150–$300/hour or $1,200–$2,500/day.
Pricing shifts with mileage, vehicle type, and time of year — Notre Dame home football Saturdays consistently push rates up and shrink availability across the entire region, so booking early is the single biggest factor in what you pay. The fastest way to see an exact number for your date and itinerary is to use our online quote tool — all-inclusive, no hidden costs, under 30 seconds. Call 260-888-2555 any time for a live quote.

Easy Party Bus Rentals in South Bend
Group transportation in South Bend has a specific set of challenges that a generic booking service won't anticipate. Gameday traffic backs up on Angela Boulevard well before kickoff at Notre Dame Stadium. The South Bend Regional Airport runs on a tight commercial timeline — buses can't idle at the curb indefinitely, and the ground-level pickup zone fills quickly when multiple regional flights land at once.
Downtown parking on a Studebaker District event night is a known struggle: the surface lots on Michigan Street fill fast and overflow cars end up hunting through residential blocks east of downtown.
Party Bus Fort Wayne routes around all of it. We confirm approach roads and drop-off points before your trip, we account for event-day closures on Douglas Road and Notre Dame Avenue, and we know exactly where your bus will be when you walk out of Notre Dame Stadium or the Morris Performing Arts Center. Since 2011, we've handled thousands of trips for wedding parties, student groups, corporate teams, and fan groups across northern Indiana.
ADA-accessible vehicles are always available — just flag it when you book. Call 260-888-2555 and we'll build your plan in minutes.
Group & Event Transportation Services in South Bend
Party Bus Fort Wayne handles every kind of group travel in South Bend — from airport pickups at SBN to Notre Dame tailgates, bachelorette nights, corporate shuttles, prom runs, and everything in between. Whatever brings your group together, we have the vehicle and the plan. Call 260-888-2555 to get moving.

South Bend Airport Shuttles & Transportation
South Bend Regional Airport (SBN) (4477 Progress Dr, South Bend, IN 46628) handles connecting traffic to Chicago O'Hare and Detroit Metro, which means groups frequently split across multiple itineraries before meeting up in South Bend. The commercial ground transportation pickup area is curbside on the Arrivals level — once your full group has cleared baggage claim and is at the curb, your coordinator calls our team and the bus moves from the holding area to the designated commercial zone. Do not call for the bus until everyone is together with luggage; SBN's commercial lane moves vehicles through on a tight rotation, and a partially loaded bus causes real problems for the groups behind you.
For groups connecting through Chicago O'Hare (ORD) — about 90 miles west on the Indiana Toll Road (I-80/90) — a charter bus transfer is the cleanest option when eight or more people need to move together. One vehicle, one fare, luggage stored in the undercarriage bays, and no coordinating rideshares across multiple terminals. Call 260-888-2555 to book your South Bend airport shuttle today.

South Bend Bachelor & Bachelorette Transportation
South Bend's bar district along Colfax Avenue and the stretch of venues near downtown — Fiddler's Hearth (127 N Main St), Crobar (229 S Michigan St), Brick Street Bar (114 E Colfax Ave), and late-night spots on the near-west side — is compact enough to hop between on foot, but keeping a group of 15 together after midnight is a different problem entirely. A South Bend bachelorette party bus keeps your crew together from the hotel pickup to last call, with a full bar already onboard so the party starts before you reach the first venue.
For the group that wants to stretch the itinerary, a party bus connects South Bend to the casino floor at Four Winds South Bend (11111 Wilson Rd, New Buffalo-area run) or a winery stop in the southwestern Michigan wine country — all without anyone worrying about getting back to a hotel in an unfamiliar part of town. No drawing straws for a designated driver. Call 260-888-2555 to plan your South Bend bachelorette night.

South Bend Birthday, Sweet 16, & Quinceañera Party Bus Rentals
A party bus arrival at your venue is the entrance a Sweet 16 or quinceañera deserves — color-changing LED lighting, a custom playlist loaded before pickup, and the whole party pulling up together instead of staggering in from a parking lot. South Bend reception halls like The Venue at the Tippecanoe Place (620 W Washington St, South Bend, IN 46601) and Palais Royale Ballroom (South Bend) give you the architecture — the party bus gives you the arrival moment.
For adult milestone birthdays heading to a dinner in Mishawaka or a night out in downtown South Bend, a party bus handles the full circuit — dinner on Main Street, drinks on Colfax, late night wherever the group decides — while everyone rides together in a climate-controlled cabin instead of splitting into a caravan of cars with competing GPS routes. We have a wide enough variety of vehicles that you only pay for the seats you actually fill. Call 260-888-2555 to plan the celebration.

South Bend Concert Transportation & Shuttles
The Morris Performing Arts Center (211 N Michigan St, South Bend, IN 46601) is South Bend's main stop for touring acts, with its 2,600-seat capacity and a downtown location that means street parking is often gone two hours before showtime. After a major show, Michigan Street backs up in both directions and rideshare wait times spike. A South Bend concert bus rental solves all of it — your group arrives together, the bus handles the post-show pickup at a pre-arranged spot, and nobody pays surge pricing at midnight.
Notre Dame's Purcell Pavilion (100 Convocation Blvd, Notre Dame, IN 46556) hosts concerts and arena events on campus, where parking enforcement is strict and off-campus arrivals get funneled through a specific set of lots. A minibus or charter bus drops your group steps from the entrance while everyone else navigates the Juniper Road lot system. For outdoor festival events like Firefly Music Festival at Four Winds Field or summer shows at Bellwether Place, a party bus keeps the group together and the energy going from the first stop to the last.
Call 260-888-2555 now.

South Bend Corporate Event Transportation
South Bend's corporate corridor runs from the Innovation Park at Notre Dame (1400 E Angela Blvd, South Bend, IN 46617) through downtown to the Century Center (120 S Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, South Bend, IN 46601), the city's main convention and events venue. Shuttling a group between a hotel on Sample Street and the Century Center during a multi-day conference is simple with a dedicated minibus loop — no one waits for a rideshare, no one misses a breakout session because parking took 20 minutes.
For larger off-site retreats heading to Chicago, Indianapolis, or Elkhart-area facilities, a full charter bus keeps your team together and productive on the road. WiFi and power outlets mean the commute becomes work time instead of lost hours. Executive Sprinter vans handle smaller VIP transfers — client arrivals at SBN, speaker pickups from the Marriott on Niles Avenue — with leather seating and tinted privacy windows.
Call 260-888-2555 to discuss South Bend corporate shuttle pricing and multi-day contract rates.

South Bend Private Event Transportation Services
The Firefly Music Festival draws crowds from across the region to Four Winds Field each summer, and the stadium-adjacent parking on Sample Street fills hours before gates open. A private charter bus drops your group at the venue entrance before the lot situation becomes a problem — and picks you up afterward, when rideshare demand around Coveleski Drive spikes hard.
For family reunions doing a full South Bend day — the Potawatomi Zoo in the morning, lunch at Tippecanoe Place, an afternoon on the East Race Waterway, dinner in Mishawaka — a charter bus keeps everyone on the same schedule instead of juggling three generations of carpools across a five-stop itinerary. Church retreats, alumni weekends around Notre Dame, multi-family summer outings: one bus, one flat rate, no coordinating carpools over a group text chain. Call 260-888-2555 and we'll build the itinerary around your stops.

South Bend Homecoming & Prom Party Bus Rentals
Prom season across the South Bend metro — Penn High School, Riley High School, Saint Joseph High School, John Adams High School, and a half-dozen more — runs from late April through mid-May. Every school schedules within roughly the same five-week window, which means vehicle demand spikes sharply and the best buses are committed months out. Book by December for a May prom if you want pricing and availability that make sense.
A group of 30 students booking in December typically lands a rate 30–40% lower than the same group calling in late April.
A standard 6-hour prom rental — school or photo-location pickup, venue drop-off, and a post-prom stop — runs $1,800–$2,400 when booked early, and $2,800–$3,500 or higher if availability forces you into a smaller window. Party Bus Fort Wayne works with parent committees across St. Joseph County to coordinate multi-stop itineraries, and our reservation team knows the specific pickup-and-dropoff logistics at South Bend venues. Call 260-888-2555 now to lock in your date.

South Bend School Event & Field Trip Transportation
Teachers and chaperones from across the South Bend Community School Corporation and Saint Joseph County's private schools trust Party Bus Fort Wayne for field trip transportation because the booking process is simple and the 24/7 team is always reachable. Whether the destination is the Potawatomi Zoo (500 S Greenlawn Ave, South Bend, IN 46615) for a life sciences unit or the South Bend Museum of Art (120 S Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd) for a fine arts trip, a charter bus gets the full grade-level group there in one move instead of a caravan of permission-slip-signed family SUVs.
Charter buses offer real advantages over yellow school buses on longer runs: overhead storage for lunch bags, climate control for November field trips, TV monitors and a DVD player that make the ride back from a 90-minute excursion genuinely manageable for younger students. For trips to the University of Notre Dame campus — Hesburgh Library, the Snite Museum of Art, Hammes Bookstore — bus drop-off on Notre Dame Avenue keeps groups clear of campus traffic enforcement zones. ADA-accessible vehicles are always available; flag it when you book.
Call 260-888-2555 for school field trip bus rentals in South Bend.

South Bend Sporting Event Transportation
Notre Dame home football at Notre Dame Stadium (1 Moose Krause Cir, Notre Dame, IN 46556) is the single most in-demand transportation window in northern Indiana. On a home Saturday, Angela Boulevard, Juniper Road, and Notre Dame Avenue all back up two to three hours before kickoff, and the pay-to-park lots on campus fill fast — Lot A passes near Gate D run $50 and are gone online weeks before a marquee opponent arrives. Rideshare pickups after the game are in a designated area east of the stadium with walk times that surprise first-timers.
A South Bend charter bus rental handles all of it: your group loads from a single South Bend or Mishawaka address, arrives together at a coordinated drop point near the stadium, and the bus waits for a post-game pickup so no one faces the full Angela Boulevard crawl on foot. The tailgate starts on the bus — not in a parking lot you had to circle for 40 minutes to find. For South Bend Cubs games at Four Winds Field (501 W South St, South Bend, IN 46601), parking in the immediate area is a patchwork of surface lots with variable rates; one bus handles the whole group for one predictable cost.
Call 260-888-2555 to lock in your game-day bus.

South Bend Wedding Transportation & Shuttle Service
South Bend's most sought-after wedding venues — Tippecanoe Place (620 W Washington St), The Lerner Theatre in Elkhart, reception halls in Granger and Mishawaka — often sit several miles from the hotels where out-of-town guests are staying. Rather than asking your guests to navigate an unfamiliar South Bend street grid in formalwear after an open bar, a wedding shuttle loop runs continuously between the hotel and the venue for the duration of the reception.
A 14-passenger Sprinter limo handles the bridal party on the day itself — leather seating, USB charging at every position, tinted windows for a private arrival. For larger wedding weekends with guests flying into SBN from multiple cities, a coordinated airport-to-hotel shuttle on arrival day and a return run on Sunday morning keeps the entire guest experience smooth from landing to departure. Party Bus Fort Wayne has been handling South Bend wedding transportation since 2011, with single-contact coordination from your first quote through the final drop-off.

South Bend Winery Tour & Pub Crawl Transportation
The southwestern Michigan wine trail — Domaine Berrien Cellars (398 E Lemon Creek Rd, Baroda, MI 49101), Contessa Wine Cellars (3235 Friday Rd, Coloma, MI 49038), and Round Barn Estate (10983 Hills Rd, Baroda, MI 49101) — puts serious wine country within 45 minutes of downtown South Bend on I-94 and Red Arrow Highway. That drive is easy when you're sober; it's a different calculation when you've done tastings at four stops. A South Bend party bus rental handles every mile while your group focuses on the pours.
For a pub crawl staying closer to home, South Bend's craft beer scene has real depth: Crooked Ewe Brewery & Ale House (1047 Lincoln Way W), Brick Road Brewery in Mishawaka, and the taproom at Brewbound on the near-east side. The bus parks once, the group moves together, and nobody's calculating how many miles to the nearest rideshare pickup between Mishawaka and downtown at 11 p.m. on a Saturday. Call 260-888-2555 for a free quote.

Frequently Asked Questions About Our South Bend Party Bus Rentals
How much does a party bus cost in South Bend?
South Bend party bus prices depend on vehicle size, the date, and how many hours you need. As a baseline: 14-passenger Sprinter limos run $170–$344/hour; small party buses (15–20 passengers) run $204–$378/hour; mid-size (20–30 passengers) run $244–$414/hour; larger party buses and minibuses (35–50 passengers) run $294–$490/hour; and full-size charter buses run $150–$300/hour or $1,200–$2,500/day. Notre Dame home football weekends and prom season (late April–May) push rates toward the upper end and shrink availability.
The fastest way to see an exact number is to use our online quote tool — all-inclusive in under 30 seconds. Call 260-888-2555 for a live quote on your specific date.
Where does a charter bus drop off at Notre Dame Stadium?
On gameday, the most direct coordinated drop-off for charter buses at Notre Dame Stadium is near the main entrance approach on Notre Dame Avenue, with buses directed to designated oversized-vehicle staging on campus. Campus police manage traffic flow on Angela Boulevard and Juniper Road from roughly three hours before kickoff, so approach routing shifts by game and enforcement level. Notre Dame's campus has a clearly marked system of event parking areas — your bus coordinator confirms the current drop approach for your specific game date when you book, so you're not discovering a closed gate at the 90-minute mark.
We recommend checking the official Notre Dame gameday page before your visit for current parking and approach road status.
How does airport pickup work at South Bend Regional Airport (SBN)?
South Bend Regional Airport (4477 Progress Dr, South Bend, IN 46628) is a single-terminal regional airport, which keeps logistics simple. Charter buses wait in the commercial ground transportation holding area and move to the Arrivals curbside once the group coordinator calls to confirm the full group has luggage and is ready at the curb. The key rule at SBN: do not call for the bus until every person in your group has cleared baggage claim and is physically at the exit doors.
The commercial lane turns over vehicles on a tight schedule, and a partial load creates delays for everyone. For groups connecting through O'Hare, we coordinate the transfer and account for the 90-minute I-90 run and variable O'Hare exit timing. Call 260-888-2555 to book your SBN shuttle.
When should I book a party bus for a Notre Dame home game?
At least three to four months in advance for any Notre Dame home game — and six months out for marquee opponents and rivalry games. South Bend's vehicle supply across party buses, charter buses, and minibuses gets taken up at once by alumni groups, corporate hospitality groups, and fan clubs from across the Midwest, all competing for the same Fall Saturday windows. A high-demand game in October can be fully committed by July.
Early booking also locks in better pricing: vehicle rates for peak Notre Dame Saturdays run 25–40% higher when booked inside 30 days versus booking at the start of the season. Call 260-888-2555 as soon as your game date is confirmed.
Can a bus handle a South Bend to Chicago transfer?
Yes — the South Bend to Chicago O'Hare run via the Indiana Toll Road (I-80/90) is one of our most common long-distance requests, typically 90 minutes in clear traffic. A charter bus or minibus handles groups of any size, with undercarriage bays for luggage and carry-on storage overhead. It's the practical solution for corporate groups heading to O'Hare for early departures, or for groups arriving at O'Hare and needing a coordinated transfer into South Bend without splitting across a fleet of rideshares.
We also run transfers to Midway Airport (MDW), about 100 miles west, for groups with Southwest connections. Call 260-888-2555 to get a quote on your South Bend–Chicago transfer.
How far in advance should I book?
Three to six months ahead is the right window for most South Bend events — weddings, corporate retreats, prom, and Notre Dame football. Two weeks is workable for off-peak dates. For the events that really tighten availability — Notre Dame home football (especially ranked matchups), prom season (late April–May), and summer festival weekends at Four Winds Field — earlier is always better, and earlier booking consistently means better pricing.
Call 260-888-2555 as soon as your headcount is confirmed and we'll lock in the right vehicle before the window closes.
Popular South Bend Party Bus Destinations
A South Bend party bus itinerary can stretch from campus to the Riverwalk, from the wine country across the Michigan state line to the casino floor at Four Winds. Here are six of the destinations our groups visit most — with the logistics detail that actually matters when you're coordinating a group of 20 or more.

Notre Dame Stadium
Notre Dame Stadium (1 Moose Krause Cir, Notre Dame, IN 46556) holds 80,795 fans and has sold out every home game since 1966 — the longest current sellout streak in college football. Game-day traffic on Angela Boulevard and Juniper Road backs up well before the 3.5-hour pregame window opens, and the campus lot system assigns parking by credential tier, with the most coveted spots — particularly Lot A near Gate D — selling online weeks before a marquee game. Charter buses enter campus through a specific gate and are directed to oversized-vehicle staging on the west side.
The walk from most parking areas to Gate D or Gate B runs 10–15 minutes; a bus coordinated to the correct drop zone cuts that to under five. We recommend reviewing the Notre Dame gameday guide before your visit for current parking assignments and approach road status.
Address: 1 Moose Krause Cir, Notre Dame, IN 46556
Phone: (574) 631-6100

Four Winds Field
Four Winds Field (501 W South St, South Bend, IN 46601) is home to the South Bend Cubs, the High-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, and one of the most celebrated minor league ballparks in the country — it has been named the best minor league ballpark in the U.S. multiple times and sits in the heart of downtown along the St. Joseph River. Beyond the 5,000-seat baseball season that runs from April through September, Four Winds hosts the Firefly Music Festival and other summer events that pack the riverfront district. Parking in the immediate area consists of surface lots on Sample Street and the downtown garage network, with rates ranging from $10–$25 on event nights.
A minibus or party bus drops your group curbside on West South Street and waits nearby for the return trip, skipping the post-event parking exit queue entirely.
Address: 501 W South St, South Bend, IN 46601
Phone: (574) 235-9988

Tippecanoe Place
Tippecanoe Place (620 W Washington St, South Bend, IN 46601) is South Bend's landmark dining and event venue, built in 1889 as the mansion of Clement Studebaker and now one of the most distinguished wedding and private event venues in northern Indiana. The 40-room Victorian mansion sits on West Washington Street with a distinctive tower and formal gardens, and its private event spaces host weddings, corporate dinners, and milestone celebrations throughout the year. Street parking on Washington Street is metered during business hours, and the venue's own lot is limited for large events — meaning wedding guests and corporate groups often face a scattered arrival without a coordinated shuttle.
A minibus running a loop from a nearby hotel to Tippecanoe Place solves that entirely and keeps guests from navigating the Washington–Main Street intersection on foot in formalwear.
Address: 620 W Washington St, South Bend, IN 46601
Phone: (574) 234-9077

Potawatomi Zoo
The Potawatomi Zoo (500 S Greenlawn Ave, South Bend, IN 46615) is Indiana's oldest zoo, open since 1902, with 38 acres and more than 400 animals including a red panda exhibit, African lion habitat, and a splash pad that draws families from across the region. Open April through October (Tuesday–Sunday, 10 a.m.–5 p.m., with extended summer hours), it's a natural destination for school field trips and family reunion outings. Charter bus parking is available in the main lot accessed from Greenlawn Avenue, and the zoo's school group entry process is on the east side of the main entrance.
Groups of 15 or more qualify for discounted group admission; reserve educational programs at least two weeks in advance. Undercarriage storage handles lunch coolers, so the group enters together without hauling gear through the exhibits.
Address: 500 S Greenlawn Ave, South Bend, IN 46615
Phone: (574) 235-9800

Morris Performing Arts Center
The Morris Performing Arts Center (211 N Michigan St, South Bend, IN 46601) is South Bend's premier live performance venue — a 2,600-seat theater in a restored 1922 movie palace with ornate Spanish Baroque interior detailing that's worth seeing even before the curtain goes up. The Morris hosts Broadway touring productions, nationally touring musical acts, comedy shows, and South Bend Symphony Orchestra performances throughout the season. It sits at the corner of Michigan Street and Wayne Street in the heart of downtown, with a surface lot on the north side of the building and the Jefferson Boulevard parking garage one block east.
On sold-out nights, that lot fills by curtain and the street-level spaces on Michigan are gone an hour early. A South Bend party bus drops your group at the Michigan Street entrance and waits for the post-show pickup window you set in advance — no post-show surge fare, no parking garage wait.
Address: 211 N Michigan St, South Bend, IN 46601
Phone: (574) 235-9190

East Race Waterway
The East Race Waterway (East Race Ave, South Bend, IN 46601) is the only man-made whitewater course in North America open for public recreation — a 1,900-foot channel of the St. Joseph River in the heart of downtown South Bend, open for kayaking and whitewater rafting from late June through Labor Day. It's a genuinely unusual group activity, popular for company outings, team-building events, birthday groups, and river festivals including the Sunburst Races in June. The waterway sits in the Studebaker National Museum district, putting it within easy walking distance of several downtown South Bend restaurants and bars — making it a natural first stop on a longer group itinerary.
Parking along East Race Avenue is metered and limited; for a group of 20-plus arriving with gear, a charter bus drop-off and wait nearby is far more practical than coordinating a dozen cars.
